The Interactive 360° Viewport
The central feature of the PanoView Editor main panel is the real-time spherical viewport. When you open a valid 2:1 equirectangular image in Adobe Photoshop, the plugin automatically displays a live 360 degree panoramic preview directly inside the panel.

Direct Pointer Drag
Click and drag directly on the canvas to rotate the camera in any direction without distortion.
Seamless Seam Wrap
Horizontal panning wraps automatically across the 0°/360° boundary, eliminating edge seams.
Instant Reset
Return to the initial neutral camera position anytime by clicking the Reset View button.
Camera Controls & Navigation
Directly below the viewport, camera controls allow precise positioning using both interactive sliders and numerical readouts.
Heading, Pitch, FOV and Reset View controls in the PanoView Editor main panel.
Heading (Yaw)
0° to 360°Controls the horizontal rotation of the camera around the vertical axis. Dragging the slider pans smoothly across the entire horizon.
Pitch (Elevation)
-90° to +90°Controls the vertical tilt of the camera. Allows you to look straight down at the ground (-90°) or straight up at the sky (+90°).
Field of View (FOV / Zoom)
30° to 100°Controls the optical focal length. Lower values produce a closer telephoto crop; higher values provide a broad wide-angle view.
Reset View Button
Instantly centers the camera to Heading: 0°, Pitch: 0°, and FOV: 75°.
Primary Editing Actions
Two prominent action cards in the lower area of the panel govern the round-trip editing process between the 360 viewer and Adobe Photoshop.
Edit This View and Apply View Edits action area in a relevant state.
Edit This View
Extracts your current camera orientation as an undistorted, density-matched perspective patch. This patch is packaged as an embedded Smart Object inside your Photoshop document and opened for immediate editing.
Apply View Edits
Compares your finished edits against the reference background, reverse-projects the changed pixels into the spherical coordinates, and writes a managed projection layer on your source panorama.
